Another successful milestone in the history of the Pilatus was achieved on December 7th, 2017 - The PC-24 EASA & FAA certification. The design, calculation and qualification of the horizontal-tail, the groundspoliers, the windshields and cabin windows are major contributions from AeroFEM. "EC 130 AeroFEM Bubble Window Flight Test" 

In collaboration with Kuerzi Avionics AG, AirZermatt AG and Armasuisse the flight tests of the AeroFEM Bubble Window Installation were carried out on the airfield Raron from 08.05.2017 to 10.05.2017. The successful completion of these tests which are part of the certification program forms a further step towards the issuing of the Supplemental Type Certificate. AeroFEM GmbH the responsible company for Project Management, Design, Analysis and Certification wants to thank all involved for their professional and effective cooperation.

  

 

 
 

 
 

The Junkers F13

On the 15th September 2016, 97 years after its original first flight, RIMOWA’s replica of the legendary Junkers F13 has departed on its second maiden flight. In April, the all-metal aircraft was presented at the AERO in Friedrichshafen for the first time.

 

As engineering partners, we have actively supported this unique, exciting project over the last two years and are delighted about this great event.
