EASA Design Organisation
AeroFEM is certified as a Design Organization by EASA (EASA.21J.644). We are authorized to develop and approve minor modifications (minor changes), major changes (STC) and repairs (minor repairs) on aircraft.
The DO approval authorizes us to act within the following aircraft categories:
- Very Light Aircraft / Light Sport Aircraft (CS-VLA / CS-LSA)
- Sailplanes / Powered Sailplanes (CS-22)
- Small Aeroplanes (CS-23)
- Lage Aeroplanes (CS-25)
- Very Light Rotorcraft (CS-VLR)
- Small Rotorcraft (CS-27)
- Large Rotorcraft (CS-29)
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (CS-UAV)
Our expertise focuses on:
- Structures (Airframe)
- Mechanical Systems (incl. hydro-mechanical)
- Integration of Propulsion and Fuel Systems
- External Sling Load Systems (Heavy Loads, Human External Cargo)
- Interior Components & Cabin Equipment (MEDEVAC, Galleys, etc.)
- Cargo Systems
AeroFEM is also authorized to plan and conduct flight tests under EASA supervision (Flight Conditions application to EASA, Permit to Fly to be issued by NAA).
